I make films, help bring filmmakers together, and teach creative expression. Each part of that work starts with listening.

Stories and the spaces around them.
I’m Aaron Alexander, a filmmaker and producer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I founded Silence Fiction Films and serve as executive director of the Mindfield Film Festival.
Making a film is only one part of the journey. I care about the conversations that happen around it: between collaborators on set, between filmmakers and audiences, and among people who might not otherwise meet.
Creative space for young people.
I teach acting and music in the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico’s performing arts program. The organization and the children and families it serves mean a great deal to me. I’m grateful to be part of a place where young people can explore, create, and be heard.
